Washington Capitals – DC’s NHL Hockey Team

In DC there is plenty of action on the ice, our NHL team is the Caps! The Caps joined the NHL’s SE division in 1974 and played their games at the Capital Centre.  The Caps have won seven division titles, and in 1997 moved their home to the new Verizon Center and reached the Stanley Cup Finals a  year later in 1998.
